This first class municipality is a popular coastal resort town. It is famous for its white sand beaches and many other natural attractions.


Saud Beach

This beautiful town is bounded to the south by the town of Bangui and to the east by the town of Adams, the Cordillera Mountain Range and Cagayan province and is situated about 560 km north of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Tourism is a growing and important part of the town’s economy.


Kabigan Falls

The lovely white-sand beaches and crystal-blue water of Pagudpud makes it a popular tourist destination. The beautiful and wonder-fall Kabigan Falls, the captivating Pasaleng Bay and Maira-Ira Point are also popular natural attractions of the town. The secluded beach of Maira-Ira Point known as the Blue Lagoon is accessible via a secondary concrete road on the north side of the National Highway or famously known as Maharlika Highway.


Pasaleng Bay

The coast of the town is lined with coconut trees and on a clear day, Babuyan Islands can be seen from Patapat National Park. The town is also famous for its unique and long bridge – the Patapat Viaduct which is elevated 31 meters above sea level. This 1.3 km long concrete coastal bridge, which is the 5th longest bridge in the Philippines, connects the Maharlika Highway from Laoag City to the Cagayan Valley Region.

Patapat Viaduct, which is the 5th longest bridge in the archipelago, offers a panoramic view of Pasaleng Bay. Another tourist attraction of Pagudpud is the captivating Mabaga Falls.
